At Buttercross we enjoy supplying a full, quality butchery range to the finest chefs in the region. In addition to classic butcher’s cuts, we are proud to use traditional methods to produce sausage, dry cured bacon & cooked hams in our EU Licensed factory on the border of Shropshire & Staffordshire. Our eighteen years of experience in the industry, alongside this unique product blend allows us to deliver ‘artisan-style’ products with the consistency, volume and flexibility that busy commercial kitchens, caterers and retail outlets require. What We Do

Process

Buttercross are proud to make many of our products from scratch in our countryside factory. Our butchers produce sausages, dry cured bacon & cooked hams using traditional methods. We also have ‘on site’ ability to oak smoke, brine cure and even ‘salt age’ in our unique fridges. This gives us full control over our produce and a leading edge in product development. Great quality, unique meat products can be on your menu in a flash.

Our Butcher’s craftsmanship is clear to see in our products due to their years of experience in the trade. We butcher all cuts from fresh & local carcasses or primals, selected for maximum flavour and texture. All cuts come individually vacuum packed with an industry leading ‘trim spec’. As a result this saves time, reduces wastage and improves yields in the kitchen.

Buttercross butcher a wide range of products for other companies. We take on this work due to customers finding that our efficiency can make outsourcing good value.  Whether a one off job or regular contract, you can be sure of a cost effective and quality end product.
